Random observations, edition 8, 7th February 2005

Happy New Year, my friends and fellow citizens of the spinning earth! If I didn't know better, I would say the earth spinning at such a velocity has caused many to become dizzy and not realize it.

How else could an intelligent being explain current events? Those calling themselves "Christians" waging a war far from their homes, with thousands dying and justifying it with every lie and half-truth imaginable. These are same lying warmongers winning another round of "leadership" by lying to the populous and screwing them at the same time. They use such issues as gay marriage and abortion to divide the people, which has returned in a civil war of words and hate; while they speak of unity, freedom, peace, love and Christian morality!!? It's ludicrous and indubitably evil!

As I wrote when the Iraq invasion was in its infancy (talk about something that should have been aborted, as the father of the idea is certainly a rapist and the child, war, is a bastard), thousands have died and there is no end in sight. As an aside, isn't it disgustingly dishonest when so many Iraqi civilians die at the hands of Americans and it's called "collateral damage", not murder or even manslaughter? Then the liars have the gall to say those that hate them feel that way not because of what they do, but because they (we) represent freedom and democracy! Tell that to an Iraqi mother holding her dead child in her arms, killed by a factual error developed by the Pentagon.

To the alleged leaders in the US (they couldn't manage an ant farm!), accountability is what we all face, not them. The warmongers, liars and spendthrifts call themselves conservatives, which is one of the biggest lies! Look up the word and you will see that none, and I do mean, of these fools could be honestly called conservative, whether it be in masters of style, fiscal discipline, societal projections, care of their fellow humans or those oppressed, poverty-stricken, imprisoned and mistreated. When Bush was running for president in 2000 (a presidency he did not win, but bought), he wore a bracelet with the letters "W.W.J.D" (depicting "What Would Jesus Do") on his wrist. This must have been the first thing he threw in the trash, for not only has it not been seen since, he and his cohorts have never followed the example of Jesus! I'll debate any brave soul that wishes to argue this cogent point!

Oh, I'm sure that what I say offends some and elates others! 1 don't care if it offends you, as it's simple, non-contrasted truth and if you can't understand it, what does that reveal about you? To me, it's quite telling on its face! If you enjoy it, welcome to the real world of intrepid analysis and decent advocacy. Help me in this struggle to allow truth to rule the conversation. Our enemy is as happy as a cow in a cabbage patch laughing at his ostensible victory. We all know the enemy.

Did you notice when Condoleeza Rice, who is pathetic and soon to be the Secretary of State for the US, was grilled for her many lies and deceptions leading up to the illegal invasion of Iraq, she bristled with faux, self-righteous indignation, like almost all liars do to deflect scrutiny of the discussion point and have the focus shifted to the person asking the questions. For the unsophisticated mind, this can work and seems to be working well. Mark my words, a day will come and not too far in the future, when she and those like her will be brought to the bar of accountability. It is my hope that the masses will rise up to depose these dishonest purveyors of hate, greed, death and oppression. Why is it left to me to make these honest statements and evaluations from my unique perch as a condemned, yet innocent man? Throughout history, those that do not shrink from making honest assessments and presenting them to as many people as possible have been pilloried, debased, beaten and killed, simply for their position on real issues, from Jesus Christ to Martin Luther King, Jr. to Lincoln, the thread runs through their words, bravery and radicalism.

We celebrate and revere such people while abandoning what they stood and worked for. Join me in changing this, for each of us has the capacity to work for and sacrifice for the greater good of humankind. The tragic earthquake/tsunami of Christmas 2004 should be a wake-up call for all of us on this planet. So many died, perhaps 250,000, with millions left homeless, grief-stricken and hopeless. The media did a good job, as it sometimes does and always should, in letting the world know the extent of the destruction and misery. The world responded in a positive way, showing what can happen! Amen! But, why don't we care as much about each other in the absence of tragedy. death and pain?

Okay, I hear you! So now, on to other items of possible interest.

I'm glad to see 2004 in the rear-view mirror. I'm now about half way through my 22nd year of incarceration and condemnation for crimes committed and confessed to by my own brother. Yes, it's surreal, abstract and certainly a violation of my civil, constitutional and human rights! Not to mention illegal, unjust, inhuman, inhumane, corrupt, vile, evil, dastardly, mean, stupid and Idahoan! (that last point is apt, but not all Idahoans are in favor of what is happening to me; most of them just don't care or don't know about it; they don't want to know. Some do care, but not enough)

My legal case is now at the 9th Circuit in San Francisco. About now, the State of Idaho finished or filed their response to my Appeal, trying their best to have the court okay my murder by overlooking the lies, crimes and corruption of the court (judge) and prosecutor at my trial. We shall see who prevails in this battle, but as far as the truth is concerned, I've already won! I now know the state's Reply Brief is due by 13 February, 2005!

After I was attacked from behind by the cowardly amateur racists in July, I was placed in "solitary", where I remain. I had my placement hearing to determine if I will go back to general population, where my brother now lives. The prison cleared one complete tier and refilled it with people that try to get along in harmony; thus no neo-Nazi idiots. This is where my brother lives, but unless Director Beauclair makes the bold decision to move me, I will remain punished for the actions of others and the mismanagement of the inmate population at IMSI. Wow! What a surprise, being mistreated due to the sub-human activities of others!

The better people here were concerned about me, my mood, and lack of motivation, so I agreed to try "Prozac", to see if it would help. It did not agree with me, though I tried it for several months. It made me sluggish, a bit dull and disrupted my natural cycle/biorhythm. I discontinued the Prozac regimen a few weeks ago and I feel better each day, which you can discern by reading this update. This is a double-edged sword, for the better my energy level and positive perspective gets, the more I dislike the way I'm being treated! I will need as much support and encouragement you can render this year, until my situation here at IMSI changes or a decision is made on the legal appeal. Two days ago, I was approached with a proposition. The question was whether I would be okay with my friend, J. Pizzuto, moving next door to me. He feels and it's based on stark reality, that he will be executed this year, as his appeal was denied by the very appeal court I am now in. Ostensibly, my buddy could be murdered by Idaho in autumn. This will be a rough road for everyone and anyone taking joy from it is worse than Osama bin Laden.

Of course, I said yes. He should be around at least one person that cares for him while he endures this pathetic passion-play. I will not defend Jerry concerning the misdeeds of his former life, but he is now 54, in bad health and can hardly wait after 20 years of incarceration. No matter what is said about the old Italian, he's my friend and I love him as a brother, a fellow human, warts and all. Believe me, it takes a strong friend to overlook some of his stupidity! If I can't be a friend and confidante of a fellow human, no matter what anyone else may think, I would not be a real Christian or even a real person, but a phony (like so many of our politicians, on both sides!!). Somehow, we'll all get through it.

Other news: A former death row inmate here, Donald Paradis, has been allowed by the Federal District Court to continue his five million dollar lawsuit against Idaho, for framing him with lies, and prosecutorial/judicial misconduct! Yes! Now you see, why they so desperately want to kill me, for my case is far worse than Don's. If you want to read something about how the worthless prosecutors lie, cheat and murder innocent people with the help (or blind eye) of the "alleged" justice system, you need to read an article by Jeffrey Toobin (the same journalist that wrote about Don Paradis' case before he won his release). This article, "Killer instincts", is found in the 17 January 2005 edition of "The New Yorker" magazine. Check with them at www.newyorker.com and what we really need to do, as a collective force, is ask Mr. Toobin (or someone of equal insight and skill) to write about this (my) case; to put as much pressure on Idaho as possible!!! Please Help!!

Speaking of Idaho, Governor Kempthorne gave the "State of the State" address last week and he did a good job sounding like a populist that actually cares about other people and how they live. He mentioned that Idaho sells over a billion dollars worth of goods (mostly agricultural) to foreign countries! Well, we need to contact the leaders and commerce departments of all these places and petition them not to do any business with Idaho. They might as well be trading with Adolf Hitler and his minions! So far, Idaho has not criminally charged the neo-Nazi pigs that attacked me, so it must be okay for racists to assault and attempt to murder people in Idaho. I suppose it's okay with Idaho's legal establishment. Let's do all we can to not allow this! We all need to contact Kempthorne and ask him why it's legal to try to kill me this way. Is there no law? Maybe, the law only applies to non-racists!

Also, the Associated Press reporter in Boise, Bob Fick, wrote the article about me being attacked and the lack of control at IMSI. When he was asked to do a follow-up, he said he would not because it was not newsworthy that I was almost beaten to death by neo- Nazis in a state facility. He said he arrived at this conclusion because he did not receive many phone calls about it nor were there any letters to the editor in the Idaho Statesman newspaper! So, let's change this (it's a stupid and false justification by Fick anyway!). Call Fick at +1 208 / 3 43 18 94 or his boss in Salt Lake City at +1 801 / 3 22 34 05! Protest this lack of journalistic zeal or just out right complicity. Contact the Associated Press Headquarters and protest that Fick should be fired if we don't get results. Don't buy anything from Idaho! I will close now, but I want you to know that I love you all and I need you in my life, no matter whether I'm imprisoned or if it will be free. I've learned this through my recent ordeal: My faith has not diminished with all the adversity I've endured. It has only been strengthened, energized, activated and aroused!
