Spring is coming and so it was high time for me to update my internet site. Who's in the mood to spend time starring on a computer screen when there's lovely sunshine outside?I have now added a new subject: car's consumption and how we can decrease it. After the recent price increases in Europe as a result of the highest crude oil prices since many years, hardly anyone can afford to burn petrol in excess.
Further projects are planned:
- Toyota Prius: driving test (spring 2004)
- Crude oil museum in Wietze: report and photographs (being J.R. Jewing once in a lifetime) (summer 2004)
- "Street and Nation" in Hanover: American car festival with rowing engines and cars looking as good as the girls hot pants (summer 2004)
- Petrol and diesel: distillation and transformation (a really fascinating subject) (autumn 2004)
- Cycling: tours on Mallorce
- Cycling: tours in the Harz, the Solling and the Weserbergland (Lower Saxony in Germany)
- Bike: calculation and improvement of traction forces and calorie consumption
Initially I had planned to present here a completely trilingual internet site. But I'll be happy to write at least a portion of those reports in one language only. The day just has 24 hours and as I working man I need to earn some money in a first place.
Most of the reports will be written in the language of my residence country: German.
I might write some reports in English to enable anyone to understand the content. Almost anyone can at least read English. Those how can't read English yet, I ask for a little effort in a global world.
In the meantime, I wish all of you a peaceful spring and a lovely summertime 2004,
