conversion service 1.4 for WinNT/Win9x/Win2k

The program is released under the GNU Public license.

The program can be used to automatically convert postscript files into different other file formats (pdf, jpg, tif). It requires Ghostscript 6 or higher for the conversion. After the program is started it periodically checks a directory for postscript files. If one appears the program waits for the file to be accessible and starts Ghostscript with the desired driver. The output file is put together with the original file to an output directory. After the conversion message is placed into the status queue.

Installation

The program needs Ghostscript 6 or higher versions to run. If you download only the script file you will also need Tcl/Tk 8.3 or higher. The selfinstalling version is wrapped with freewrap 4.4 and runs without Tcl/Tk installed.
After starting the program searches for a configuration file convert.cnf in the current directory. In and out path, device and resolution and path to gswin32c are read from this file. The settings can be changed in the settings window available via the settings button in the main window.

Download

The latest version will allways be available here.
