What's new?

On this page I'll try to mention everything that has been changed or updated.This should help everyone of you who frequently visits "A PAGE NAMED GOO" to get a quick overview what you haven't seen yet.

Oct.27th,2000:	Finally, I'm back from my vacation. There isn't too much new to say about the GOO GOO DOLLS. According to some rumors John, Robby and Mike are spending a lot of time in the studeo, working hard on their new album. Hope we'll learn more about that soon. I added some more links to excellent bands, please give them a chance, too, and visit their homepages. The German Section is always worth a visit as well, check out who has been added lately.
Sept.10th,2000:	You'll find some more links to other cool bands that really deserve your attention, too. Check out the Band Links. I'm making slow progress with the German Section and I wanna thank every1 who participates in this thing. It would be a total no-go without you.
Aug.27th,2000:	There are 2 new links in the navigation bar on the left of the page: Those who always want to be first to know the latest news and announcments can now click on the GOO News link - it'll take you directly to the news and events section of the official GOO GOO DOLLS homepage. The other one is a link to the new German Section. Once again, German fans please check it out and support this new feature. Just send me the required data and I'll add you as an "official" GOO GOO DOLLS fan. Thank you. If you want to check out some Other Bands you'll find out that I added a couple of new links.
Aug.24th,2000:	Finally, A PAGE NAMED GOO is up-to-date again.... I know it's been a long time - too long I guess. I'd like to apologize for that. I was just too busy (and lazy?). However, there hasn't been very much new for a while. Everybody has to take some rest from time to time, but now the GOO GOO DOLLS are on tour again (check out the Tour Dates). Unfortunately, the GOOS don't seem to have any plans yet to play Europe again - although they gained many really enthusiastic fans here when they toured across several countries here. Well, just an idea: As I've noticed, there are many German GOO fans who posted messages at the Message Board and signed my Guestbook. That's reason enough to create a special German Section on my fan page - because this actually IS a German site. Maybe this will help to strengthen the fan community here. You'd be able to find names of other fans, their e-mail addresses and ICQ/AIM/Yahoo Messenger screen names to get into contact and talk with them, share your experiences, informations and dreams with them and make new friends. And if you put up your own GOO fan page you deserve the opportunity to make it public. Or just tell me your name (and location) if you want to show you're a proud GOO GOO DOLLS fan. Hey, you gotta help me with this, please support me - and write me an e-mail.
Dec.12th,1999:	Sorry, it's been a long time since the last update. This time I added some more links to other popular bands. You can find them on the Other Bands page. Check out the official homepage of any of the 31 listed bands. For those who enjoy playing the guitar, maybe the new stuff on the Tabs page is a challenge for you.
Oct.25th,1999:	I am planning something new and unique for fans who frequently visit my homepage: An exclusive fan section with your own, individual links (not necessarily to GOO GOO DOLLS sites). This means there will be a page with YOUR links to sites that YOU like. You click on your name and you'll see your favorite links. Of course, they can be seen by everyone else,too. I don't know what you think about this idea, so if you're interested please write an e-mail to links@googoodolls.de. You can already attach a wordpad with the URLs and titles of up to 10 sites. The Discography page has 2 new articles now: an interview with John talking about his tough childhood, Robby's family and the cliché of the poor boy who finally made it. a collection of original quotes of John showing his healthy attitude and good character. The GOO Links have been updated: There is a new official GOO GOO DOLL PAGE with a lot of great features. A link will take you to this best GGD site ever. I also added a link to Addie's "Caught in the Breakdown" page. There is also a new link called GGD Webring for detailed information about "All Goo! The Ultimate Goo Goo Dolls Webring". On the Other Bands page there are a couple of new links to official homepages of other rocking artists.
